There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.

A year at our school

A strong transition to primary school is vital to the success of our children. Students are given the opportunity to participate in 8 transition sessions designed to build relationships between students and staff, and have students ready for their first day of kindergarten!

Explicit teaching allows us to cater for individual learning needs. Students experience one hour of literacy and numeracy instruction each morning, where they work together to build the foundational skills to make them successful and independent learners. Catering to the individual learning needs is at the heart of what we do at Cassilis Public School.

While being a regional school poses its own challenges, we are committed to giving our students all the opportunities that they can experience. We use our own school bus to transport students to carnivals, extra-curricular opportunities such as Public Speaking, NAIDOC day events and of course, the Pittman Cup
